Lead the process of developing HSSE plans and targets.Develop HSSE annual plans for the next coming year.Analyze past year performance and set challenging targets for upcoming yearsParticipate in setting personal targets for all employees Develop and maintain Company HSSE documents. Implement the documentation protocol and make sure that all documents are in their right place and that they are available for auditing when needed. Develop HSSE training programs & conduct Trainings (including identifying suitable training providers) for the workforce in the region of responsibility. Identify essential basic HSSE training needs and their frequency for employees and maintain an updated log. Organize, in coordination with HR, training programs for employees in the field and the office. Conducts the basic HSSE induction training to new comers Proactively monitor and communicate developments in industry standards and guidelines, countries of operations’ legislations, and best practices; and implement changes commensurate with the Corporate HSSE Policy of the company. Monitor the developments in HSSE standards and evaluate their applicability to present operations. Conduct management HSSE audits and reviews as per annual HSSE Audit plan and schedule pertaining to the region of operation. Convey audit results to responsible parties and management to take proper action As necessary, develop procedures and guidelines to address HSSE issues and operational risk profile of the asset areas.Develop procedures for any specific operational issue that might not be covered in corporate/other regions HSSE operations. Assist other regions/countries in HSSE matters, when requested by higher management. Analyze HSSE data and furnish a monthly report to management specifying HSSE metrics. Maintain effective emergency response in all worksites.

Directs and coordinates Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental activities KCA Deutag for in accordance with KCA Deutag Quality / Rig / HSE Management Systems.To demonstrate and promote safety leadershipto ensure all rig personnel understand and comply with all KCA Deutag Quality and HSE requirements.To advise rig personnel on QHSE matters.To provide QHSE support on-site as required.To ensure all reporting meets KCA Deutag requirements in a timely manner.Personally responsible for own safety and conducting ones self to the standards of KCA Deutag Policies and ProceduresCoordinate with the Rig Manager and Area QHSE involving QHSE concerns.Consult, advise and direct Drilling Operations in matters relating to QHSE.Liaison with Operator in regards to QHSE matters.Maintaining internal and external reporting according to established systemsParticipation in, and coordination of, rig HSE meetingsEnsure rig complies with KCA Deutag requirements.Maintaining and updating Rig evacuation plans, procedures and measures.Provide information to Management on accidents/incidents in a timely manner according to established NDIL and Operator procedures.Monitor compliance against the monthly HSE schedule.Coordinate with the Rig Manager concerning the implementation of the Rig Management. System on-site and the ongoing instructions to all personnel in it’s use.Monitor/chair/participate in regularly scheduled HSE meetings held at rigs and camps.Oversee implementation of operational systems and procedures to include but not be limited to: Permit to Work System, Lock-Out/Tag-Out System, Hazardous Chemical -MSDS, PPE System, H2S Awareness, Benchmarking, and other required training activities.Execution/Reviewing/Monitoring of required QHSE inspection for rigs and camps, reporting findings to the Rig ManagerMaintenance of the Lifting & Slings Registers and Inspection Program for rigs in area

During internship my main responsibilities are to study all mechanical equipments practically, to see troubleshooting and overhauling and to give suggestions for improvement in my report in following sections: 2.5 MW Oil fired and thermal power plant Overhauling of engines and centrifugal pumps. Fire tube boilers Lathe, drilling, grinding,milling,drawing and CNC machines Steam turbine and cooling tower.
