I have handled main general construction package awarded at $ 83 million at 60% design package and closed at $ 104 million. My core responsibilities included review of bid documents, pre-qualification, commercial evaluation of bids, alignment of commercial offers, registration in SAP, preparation of bid tabs & award recommendations at pre award stage and post award activities included administration of awarded contracts, scope clarifications, EOT, change orders & claim management, execution of interim and progress payments, contractual correspondence (Letters) and contract close out. Alongside, executed contracts management of Technip’s SMR Engineering and Material Management worth $ 36 million, Buildings Design & Construction Package worth 15 million, TSF Package worth $ 09 million, Various Pre-Commissioning Vendor Assistance Packages worth $ 08 Million. At project site, I performed the role of Site Subcontracts Administration Team Leader whereby I supervised two Subcontracts Administrators for contracts management and administration activities. Currently, I am working on bidding of phase 2 Carbon dioxide capture, pipeline, STG & utilities Package worth $ 65 million and collaborating with legal, finance, and project management teams to provide contractual guidance and support, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met & upheld and has awarded early-stage engineering and consultancy contracts. I am protecting the company interests in all contractual matters and insuring company policies and procedures are complied with as well as insuring legal compliance in all contractual matters.

Project: Ras Tanura Refinery Clean Fuel ProjectEPC-1 LSTK: EPC of new plant for production of Ultra Low Sulpher Content Diesel & Gasoline products.EPC-2: EPC of storage tanks, interconnecting pipe works, facilities for utilities and product transfer lines in Brown Field.Project Worth $ 1.55 BillionWorked in the Subcontracts & Cost Control wing of Tecnicas Reunidas where I executed post award contract administration activities for electromechanical construction contracts, resolved scope conflict issues & provided clarifications, handled claims & contractual correspondence (Letters), reviewed RFP Packages, negotiated and issued construction change orders, worked with QS department to validate contractors applications for payment and certification of payments (interim and final) including measurement and chaired weekly progress meetings with subcontractors. I negotiated, compared, and managed New Price Approval (NPA) for commodity items for addition in existing contract BOQ. Throughout, I provided services when required in the interpretation of contracts during the course of administration and at contracts close-out and safe guarded company interests in all contractual matters in consultation with legal department for compliance to company policies and procedures.

Project: Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle Air Separation Unit EPC of Air Separation Unit, Storage TanksProject Worth $ 1.3 BillionI was responsible for fulfilling project construction needs for the Middle East largest air separation unit and administered the agreements with general construction contractors for civil, mechanical, structural steel and E&I. Main activities included scope verification, issuance of site instructions, evaluating & closing construction change orders, claims evaluation and processing progress & final payment certificates, managing backcharges, liaison with different functions, post contract release of package updates and contract close out. I prepared comprehensive reports, bid tabs, evaluations related to contractors performance, and provide recommendations for process improvements on account of lessons learnt.

Project: Various Construction, Manufacturing and Turnaround projects for Key Clients inclusive Saudi Aramco, SABIC , Marafiq, Petro Rabigh, YANSAB, SAIPEM, YASREF, SAMREF, LUBEREF, YANPET, NATPET, JGC Gulf. I was part of Supply Chain department where I conducted competitive bidding of long-term maintenance services & blankets contracts for various services inclusive heavy lifting & heavy haul, scaffolding, insulation & painting, manpower & equipment hiring, hydrojetting & chemical cleaning, catalyst loading, cold cutting, machining & bolt torquing and executed post award contracts administration activities including securing Deeds, Lien & Claim Waivers from subcontractors and their vendors prior to certification of payments. I formulated and issued amendments to the contract as and when required in accordance with the procedures and prepared the final reconciliation on completion of the contracts and assisted upon request on interpretation and performance of contract terms and conditions. For the manufacturing contracts, I managed certification and annual renewal activities with various professional bodies including ASME & API.Alongside I identified, solicited & selected reliable subcontractors to supply construction & maintenance services and executed the pre-qualification process in accordance with approved procedures & formats. I ensured timely mobilization of subcontractor for the challenging turn around & retrofit jobs. During the execution of the jobs, I maintained a strong and effective professional working relationship with subcontractors without compromising procedural and compliance requirements mandated by company and clients. I also issued and organized services contracts for BER (Beyond Economic Repair) & Scrap items and disposal of hazardous chemicals, catalyst in designated locations approved by regulatory authorities.

Project: Revamping of Urea Plant- Capacity Enhancement from 900 to 1200 MTPD & Construction of Di-Calcium Phosphate (DCP) Plant- Capacity 50,000 MTPA.This was my first professional career assignment, and I was reporting to internal management for day-to-day site activities for progress monitoring, preparation of MOM, identification of material requirements, addressing site technical queries in consultation with construction management team, conducting daily site visits, drafted and kept log of all contractual letter correspondence, followed up on actions and responding back to execution contractor.
