Operation & Maintenance of Airfield Ground Lighting System.

• Team Leader in construction site of new airbase which is construction of simple approach (single light source) & Category-I Approach Lighting system, Runway, Helipad, Taxiways, Aprons, High masts Poles, aircraft Hangers electrical control rooms, air traffic control tower. • Knowledge and hand-experience in the different installation methods: Deep bases, shallow bases, elevated lights, Poles, lattice masts, frangibility requirements.• Knowledge and work experience in the design of trenches, direct laying (digging method), draw in system (Duct banks) & dimensioning of manholes.• Expertise in the design of earthing & counterpoise connections & laying networks. • Design and installation of DB’s of Apron Flood lights.• Expertise of cable laying with installation of Primary and secondary connectors.• Experience in the design of PAPI location calculation and also approach profiles calculation, AGL fittings & guidance sign layout

1). Managing Operation of Medium Voltage (11KV) with Stand by 03 Source of Power generation 02 generator (350KVA) & UPS (200kva) that were Controlling Essential and non-essential load of Cat-III, Cat-I Runway's. Control Power operation of Navigation System by Operating 11 Generators at New Islamabad international airport.2). Operation and Maintenance Of Airfield Lighting System of Cat-III, Cat-I Runway's. 2) Specific Knowledge of Aeronautical Ground Lighting System; Installation- Commissioning- Maintenance. According to ANNEX 14 (ICAO & FAA) International Airport Standards.3). Coordination and monitoring with sub contractors for excavation and Cable laying activities on site.4). Sufficient knowledge and experience fault tracing in faulty cables. ( 5KV AFL system circuits)5). Have sufficient knowledge of Microprocessors constant current Regulator (MCR3) & circuit selector Module (CSM).6). Working on proper Earthing of Insulated Transformers & AFL circuits and other electrical Equipment.7) Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing, rules and regulations.8) Preparing Daily Inspection, Weekly inspection & Monthly inspection of power system ( MV & LT Panels, UPS, Batteries, Generators ), Apron Flood lights & AFL system.9) Preparing preventive planned maintenance scheduled as per SOPs and manufacturer recommendations to ensure smooth Operation.10) Calibration of Precision approach path indicator (PAPI) lights.11) Specific knowledge of distance, Transformers Ratings of (Approach light, Side Row approach lights, Runway Edge light, Threshold lights, Runway End light, Runway Guard Light, Stop bar light, Taxiway Center & Edge light, Apron Edge light & apron Flood lights.
