- Manage the operations of hiring out of earth moving equipment to companies involved in areas such as building and engineering construction, government, mining and resources, manufacturing, maintenance, special events, and to individuals for personal use- Listing current and available equipment like Bull dozers, Graders, Tractors etc. on all pertinent platforms.- Scouting for prospective lessees.- Scheduling equipment preventive & corrective maintenance, as needed.- Negotiates price and volume of original orders by maximizing rate and volume. - Obtains all necessary customer information; financing and/or credit, finalizes and secures equipment for dates needed, places the rental/purchase order in the computer system, organizes transportation for orders. - Communicates with Operations and Maintenance for upcoming equipment requirements. - Administers all aspects of rental contracts; accurate rental dates, rates and all ancillary charges, amendments, suspensions, terminations, filing of contracts and related paperwork, and checking invoices and credit memos against contract files. - Addresses customer questions and concerns in a professional manner in order to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the customer. - Supports sales and marketing efforts by performing prospecting calls, forwarding sales leads and incoming inquiries to the sales group, and acting as a liaison for marketing in respect to product promotions and rental programs. - Creates weekly management reports and provides updates to the CEO.
