- Resident Site Engineer and representative for the Precast Piling and Construction (Frame Structure) works of 20 blocks of 7-storey buildings at Illubirin Foreshore Housing Estate, Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island.- Supervised the casting of piles (precast) and ensured the required reinforcement and spacing of stirrups were used. Also conducted PIT and PDT test on selected pile points.- Made sure the right concrete mix was used and gave a final approval after inspection was performed for casting and production.- Supervised the pile driving by signing off for the setting out of the pile and ensured the piles got to the required depth of penetration before completion of a given point.- Supervised the pile load tests on controversial piles we had on site.- Ensured the levels and building corners were correct and accurate before the sub-contractors commenced excavation for blinding.- Liaised with the main contractor representative to monitor every stage of construction from the setting out of pile caps and ground beams to the slabs, beams and columns.- Assisted in the structural redesigning of every structural element and issued AS-BUILT drawings when necessary.- Prepared daily and weekly technical site reports on issues that arose on site.
