I currently work at INSA as an Application and Database Evaluator and Auditor. In this role, I leverage the OWASP Top 10 testing guide, a recognized industry standard, to conduct comprehensive security assessments of web applications and databases. This methodology allows me to systematically identify vulnerabilities across various categories, including injection flaws, broken access control, and insecure configurations. By exploiting these vulnerabilities in a controlled environment, I simulate real-world attacks and provide valuable insights for strengthening INSA's digital defenses.

As a System Security Engineer, I delved into the world of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) by simulating a real-world environment on Linux. This involved a thorough understanding of the various PKI components, such as Certificate Authorities (CAs) and digital certificates, and their role in securing communication. I then configured a Linux environment with the necessary software to act as the foundation for this simulated PKI.One key aspect of the project involved setting up a subordinate Certificate Authority (Sub CA) within the PKI. This included creating a Sub CA certificate signed by a Root CA (self-signed in this simulation) and configuring it to issue certificates for specific purposes or domains. I also explored the process of certificate issuance, simulating how entities would enroll, have their identities verified, and ultimately receive certificates based on defined policies. This might have involved exploring tools for managing the certificate lifecycle, including revocation and renewal.Through this project, I gained valuable hands-on experience with PKI concepts and their practical implementation on a Linux platform. It significantly enhanced my understanding of secure communication protocols and the critical role PKI plays in safeguarding data integrity and user authentication.
