In this role, I served as the chief architect of Ping Identity’s transformative go-to-market strategy in support of the evolution from a product centric to solution centric private equity owned technology firm to a global, publicly traded leader in the identity and access controls space. My organization was responsible for driving the product vision, positioning, and roadmaps for the full Identity and Access solutions portfolio, as well as the customer success strategy, investments, quarterly analyst briefings, and definition of lead generation, pricing, sales, marketing, and growth plans. I was responsible for leading the product management organization on a dotted line basis. Notable achievements:►Leading the creation and delivery of strategic roadmaps that delivered rapid annual revenue growth, elevating Ping’s competitive position via the rapid realignment of the company’s product and market requirements to strengthen B2B, B2C, and B2E value.►Delivering double-digit increases to the company’s sales conversion rate, directing a cross-functional team of sales, finance, marketing, and other stakeholders driving cultural and structural change to strengthen the client journey through sharpened segmentation and pricing.►Playing a central role in M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, and in preparing the company for its successful acquisition and subsequent IPO. This was achieved by delivering a viable product portfolio with best-in-class underlying security technologies, positioning the brand as an attractive target to both institutional and value investors.►Product managing the creation of an Open Banking/PSD2 data solution facilitating Ping’s rapid banking sector growth to 25% of the total P&L and serving as a key differentiator by enabling seamless client compliance with globally deployed API security standards.►Accelerating go-to-market execution via leadership on the expansion and organic growth of the partner network.

Acquired by Broadcom in 2018, CA Technologies was a global software firm with more than $4.2B in annual revenues.I headed a Product Management organization responsible for the definition and delivery of the product and service strategy for a pioneering IAM (Identities & Access Management) as a Service proprietary multi-factor identity and security system at the cutting edge of the rapidly emerging cloud security services and tools field. As the P&L owner and product sponsor, I defined and executed the roadmaps and lifecycles, with responsibility for business case, product requirements and development, growth planning, pricing, discounting, portfolio optimization, user experience, and teams of Developers and Product Managers. Notable achievements:►Architecting the next-generation IAM service strategy that created new markets for our products via the identification of current gaps, channel capabilities, market analyses, pricing models, legal structures, sales and support structures, and product synergies.►Successfully launching CA’s IAM as a Service into the market, disrupting the technical landscape by providing tools that evolved and migrated access management from hosted to nascent cloud environments.►Leading the creation of a global sales and support network incorporating global direct sales teams, service integration vendors, and MSPs to launch CA’s subscription models, enablement frameworks, and training.
