AGR Consulting ServicesReservoir Engineer and part of technical team conducting YE2019 reserves audit for a major operator on the NCS. Responsible for production and reservoir engineering and writing report for 14 producing fields on the NCS.3. Turbulent FluxProduction Engineering and PETEC Advisor for the VFM software development team and for a Petromaks2 R&D project where the aim is to develop a revolutionary method for linking reservoir performance with multiphase simulations in wells and pipelines.

Managing Faroe Petroleum’s exploration, appraisal (SE Tor) and field development projects in the Norwegian Sea area (Njord Future, Bauge, Fenja, Fogelberg, Alve, Marulk, Iris/Hades). Petroleum Engineering Manager in Faroe Corp. (UK and Norway). PETEC/Technical lead on several BD project (e.g. Fenja and Fogelberg Farm-down). Managing multidisciplinary team of 7 people. Responsible for managing Faroe Petroleum's appraisal, development and production assets in Norway.This included the producing Brage, Njord, Hyme, Ringhorne East and Jotun Fields, the Glitne Cessation Project and the Butch and Fogelberg early phase field development projects. Managing these Assets included: •Monthly production forecasting and reporting•Daily monitoring and reporting of well and field performance•Analysis, assessment and input to annual work programme and budgets•Forecast remaining and future reserves and contingent resources •Conducting In-house technical studies (production decline curve analysis, reservoir simulation, geo-modelling, seismic interpretation, risk and uncertainty analysis, commercialization studies)•Coordinate external studies (field development, facilities engineering, PVT analysis, Well Test analysis)•Provide technical input to Business Development and Exploration (APA/rounds applications, well testing) projects•Assess risk and technical robustness and integrity of field installations and development projects (with help from HSEQ and Drilling departments)

Establish a professional organization (Nye Skeid Fotball AS) obtain economic control and secure funding for a fotball club in Oslo's Fairplay League. Skeid was at the time about to go bankrupt. This was a joint effort together with my brother, Even Berntsen (investor, owner and board member). Our vision and goal was to bring our old and belowed football club back to the top league in Norway.

Responsible for Det norske's operating and partner licences in the South Viking Graben Area (NCS). This included producing fields (Glitne, Enoch) and exploration prospects and commercialization of undeveloped and new oil and gas discoveries (e.g Ivar Aasen)

I was the SPE Oslo Section Chairman from 2006-2008 (http://oslo.spe.org) and instrumental in revitalizing and growing this organization and establishing a SPE Student Chapter at the University of Oslo.
