Responsible for administering the successful planning, organization, and coordination of all food and beverage activities in designated outlet, while providing exceptional 4-diamond service. Representing restaurant professionally through effective communication, cooperation and relationships with the all business partners while also collaborating with the management team to create a culture and restaurant work environment based on respect, foster opportunities for the team to learn, grow and develop their abilities. In partnership with the management staff, ensuring that service standards are on par with all outside accreditation sources, including but not limited to: Zagat, Gayot, Mobil AAA, Forbes, Wine Spectator and Michelin. Understanding all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training protocols and offering positive solutions to all problems or issues while being a voice that is part of the decision-making team.

Managing the daily activities necessary for maintenance and promotion of the restaurant and hotel wine collection. Identifying and ordering wines for the restaurant and the hotel, monitoring the conditions of the wine cellar, ensuring optimal storage while working with the kitchen staff to develop food and wine pairings. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while performing a variety of complicated tasks. Leading and directing the work of others, as well as assisting front of the house staff with wine service and wine recommendations for the guests.
