I was recruited to represent Sony in John lewis oxford street to sell tvs. 2 months into my 3 month probation period i was asked to sell headphones also. I have to have great product knowledge on all Sony tvs and headphones as well as our competitors to be able to reach and exceed given targets. I have to set daily and weekly pledges on what targets im going to meet so i have a very good understanding of the business side of things in electronics for Sony and a lot of other brands. This is what gives me an advantage.

All customers who had traveled from outside the EU and purchased items in Selfridges would come to my department to have their tax refund applications processed through a system provided by "Global blue". Then a thorough explanation of what steps need to be followed when leaving the country or their appliication would be voided.

This was my first customer service role. I really enjoyed working for arsenal as it helped create and build my foundation and mentality of how to achieve success as a team working in customer service. In store my responsibilities could be anything from manning the shop floor while making sure everything is in its place and everywhere is clean no matter how busy it gets (matchdays included). Make sure that when printing names on the football shirts that they are done correctly. Also when im at the till making sure im saying the right things to the customers as that is the end of the customer experience.
