I like to describe my art as Biophillic, which means “a love of nature and belief in the interconnectedness of all things”.It’s with this feeling that I choose botanical inks, mineral pigments, graphite pencil and paper to draw and print and paint.I wish for my practice to be of benefit to others and to the environment.With this intention, I am working towards creating local "closed-loop" systems for my local creative communities.I currently teach native dye-plant foraging, dye-making and low-impact printing techniques, through the Botanical Inks workshop series, across the South West.
