• Preparation of Timing plan for New Product development.• Reviewing the Drawings for Feasibility.• CFT Meeting will be organized for reviewing technical specification.• Preparation of process flow chart, control plan APQP & PPAP for New componentapprovals.• Planning & Procurement of Instrument for New Products.• Cost Analysis / negotiation for Tooling or product From RFQ to FAI.• Follow up and support suppliers to meet part development milestones inline with ProjectSchedule.• Fixing the target dates for developing sample based on the customer requirement.• Promote & maintain 5S in Shop & Build a good Teamwork and be a Leader for all theactivities.• Conducting Onsite assessment (Supplier Evaluation) for the new suppliers.• Develop machined parts, fabricated parts, proprietary parts at supplier end.• Supplier PPAP Approval.• Onsite capacity verification for the projected volume• Ensure quality system at supplier end for consistency of product and processperformance.• Coordinating with supplier to resolve the incoming rejections to reduce the COPQ.• Having good knowledge in using core tools like SPC, FMEA, MSA, PPAP.• Monitoring & maintaining Cp & Cpk charts for the critical parameters to reduction ofvariation in process As per customer requirement.• Supplier performance report updation, monitoring on monthly basis & Communicating to• Support and resolve supplier quality issues along with internal customer CFT throughG8D approach and follow up with supplier.• Witness production & conduct Layout Inspection at supplier location & approval.• Undertaking control plan audits at supplier end and take corrective actions for non-conformities.• Ability to do work in SAP – ERP (Version ECC 6.0).

• Conducting SPC studies for the Critical / Special Characteristics mentioned in the customer drg and as per the schedule.• Conducting Layout inspection studies and making the reports as per the schedule. • Inspection of Incoming materials like casting forgings and machining components form various suppliers.• Conducting Vendor Process/Product Audits and taking the necessary corrective actions to achieve the targeted PPM.• Making PPAP documents for the New and Existing parts.• Making Process drgs (Stage drgs) Using AutoCAD 2004.• Making In-House and Vendor PPM reports on Monthly basis for QRM.• Coordinating with Cross Functional Team for new development activities.
