Besides, I am also responsible for leading the capacity building initiatives for partners, external stakeholders and community on programme related issues. I am also accountable for taking initiatives for undertaking new projects in line with WaterAid’s Country Programme Strategy and represent WaterAid in different platforms. Responsibilities included:Providing strategic guidance for implementing different thematic urban projects in 03 major cities and 01 municipalities through partners. Responsible for overseeing the implementation of other projects including public toilet construction, operation and management, COVID-19 response project, and livelihood support project for climate-induced migrants in different cities and railway stations. Maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as WASAs, City Corporations, Railway etc. and maintain close collaboration with them. Contributing the process of developing new project proposal, identification of new project areas and selecting new partner organizations etc. Ensuring projects designing, planning, and budgeting in line with the Country Programme Strategy and donor’s requirement. Managing partnership and providing necessary support to the partner organizations on their needs to implement all urban projects. Facilitating the process of advocacy issues especially WASH issues with respective authorities. Facilitating knowledge management process for the respective projects in terms of documentation good practices, learning and cases.
