Mr. Babu Ram Aryal, the Founder/CEO if Delta Law Firm, a Kathmandu, Nepal based law firm, has over 20 years of experience on Telecommunication (Including Internet and Cyber Law) and Media Technology, Intellectual Property, International Business, Foreign Investment and other commercial laws. Mr Aryal has significant intervention at national and international level research on law and policy. He led the consulting service of Drafting ICT Bill, 2018 and Coordinated the Consultation Meeting of Stakeholders on Cyber Crime Bill, 2018 at various level. He has experience on advising major global tech companies for Nepal. Mr. Aryal is the Chair of Asia Pacific School on Internet Governance and was the Vice Chair of Multi-stakeholder Steering Group of Asia Pacific Regional IGF for the year 2019-2020 and Nepal IGF. He is also an ICANN and CPR South Young Fellow. He has participated and conducted various Internet Governance related activities at national as well international level and Includes IGF, Asia Pacific Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) and has participated various other IGF forums and includes ICANN public meetings, Global Conference on Cyberspace, Stockholm Internet Forum, Freedom Online Coalition and others. He received LLM Degree from Pune University, India. He was ANOX Fellow at OXford and participated Cybersecurity Policy Sequence at US Telecommunication Training Institute, USA. The project was funded by Foreign and Commonwealth Office of UK and jointly implemented by Article19, a London based INGO that works for Freedom of Expression and Freedom Forum Nepal. c.Project Coordinator for the project "Lobbying for Freedom of Information and Expression in the New Constitution of Nepal": Under the project, I was involved in 3 stakeholders meeting to collect their opinion on FOE and its standards to be incorporated into upcoming constitution to be drafted by Constituent Assembly. I also prepared a proposal on issue of FOE to be incorporated in the Constitution. The project was funded by VIKES, FINLAND and jointly implemented with International Exchange of Freedom of Expression [IFEX] [CANADA Office] an International Network that works in the area of Freedom of Expression.
