I’m a Chemical Engineer currently working at Suncor (Syncrude Site) as a Contact Engineer for the Hydrotreater units. With 6 years of combined experiences in the Oil industry, spanning from upstream oil sands extraction to downstream refining and slurry transport R&D, I have developed many valuable technical skills, including process optimization, project management, data analysis and especially, a strong foundation in safety, risk management and loss prevention. Leading multidisciplinary initiatives, working in collaborative environments and providing support to cross-functional teams also form a core part of my professional experience.My colleagues would describe me as a self-starter with great motivations and an individual who takes initiatives and maintains a proactive attitude when faced with challenging problems. Currently, I’m seeking leadership opportunities that will allow me to develop and promote technologies that satisfy society’s growing energy demand in a sustainable, responsible and profitable manner. Specific fields of interest include production planning, business development, commodity trading and general process leadership opportunities.
