This work involved gaining in-depth knowledge of the entire PCB assembly line, encompassing critical processes like solder paste printing, pick and place, reflow, and inspection, among others.The focal point of my dissertation was the development of a reflow model that proved instrumental in efficiently configuring the zone temperatures across different reflow ovens. This precise temperature control allowed us to subject PCBs to uniform temperature profiles, optimizing the soldering process and ensuring consistent, high-quality results.Through this project, I honed my skills in thermal modeling, data analysis, and experimental design. Moreover, my exposure to various facets of the PCB assembly line broadened my understanding of the intricate dynamics involved in modern electronics manufacturing.The experience gained during my tenure at CERTI and produza has reinforced my passion for engineering and its practical applications.
