Heading Distribution Operations team which mainly support multi distribution channel in agent contract management, licensing, compensation calculation and payment, contest monitoring and production achievement reports.

Adviser to Business Support function, which cover Agency Compensation & Licensing, Performance Monitoring, Business Analyst, PM and Governance area.

My department role is to support distribution channels (including Agency and Bancassurance) by providing services in agent data administration, compensation & benefit and performance monitoring.Agent data administration includes:- Agent & Leader onboarding administration (contract, licensing registration).- Agent record maintenance (movement, termination, promotion, demotion)- General Agencies contractCompensation & Benefit includes:- Compensation calculation & payment to agent/leader and partners- Administration of agent’s fringe benefit (medical insurance).Performance Monitoring includes:- Agent/leader achievement reports.- Sales data analysis.- Review on distribution channel’s contest proposal.Besides departmental BAU (business as usual) function, my other main role is as subject matter expert to help distribution channel setting up their internal rule, compensation scheme, contest set up, fraud handling, distribution channel conflict.Other exposure:Acting as Head of Product Development for almost one year, working together with actuary, distribution channel, partner in developing & launching product.

My portfolio cover two side of life insurance stake holders: life insurance clients and our sales partners.A. Responsible for back room of life insurance operations, which include New Business, Underwriting, Customer Service (including walk in, call center, policy owner service), Claim and Projects.B. Set up and supervise Group Insurance Operations, including hospital network setup, staffing, SOP set up, plan roll out, etc.C. Responsible for Distribution Operations which cover support for partners of Agency Distribution and Bank Assurance Distribution. Starting form agent contract and data maintenance, compensation for Life Planners (Agents) & Bank Partner, Performance Monitoring (production reports, contest, etc), providing support & follow up function for LPs and Banca distribution, Sales Office Management, Best Practice and Rule Enforcement.

My key responsibility is to plan & support AIAF's Agency channel on strategic projects & initiative, also responsible for set up & implementation of rule & regulations.Activities includes :- Major projects coordination: a. inorganic recruitment b. compensation revamp c. customer/policy retention d. sales force segmentation- Agent/leader contract maintenance- Rule & regulation enforcement

Manage support function for multi-distribution sales force, including agency, bancassurance and direct marketing.To mention some of the function supported are:1. Sales force data administration (agent & leader contract, agent licensing administration, agent record maintenance, agent level upgrade/downgrade).2. Calculate, verify & disburse sales related compensation. This include compensation for individual sales force, leaders and partners (bank partners and other institutions).3. Manage sales force fringe benefits (health care, etc).4. Monitor & calculate sales force performance to determine contest results and other performance criteria set by the distribution channels.5. Help desk & sales force contact center for certain distribution channels. This include follow up actions on outstanding cases (new business and policy servicing), on sales force behalf to other function in head office.6. Follow ups for disciplinary action or other administrative action to sales force, related to market conduct.7. Business Continuity Plan Officer, responsible for develop, maintaining and run periodic test for BCP/DR(Disaster Recovery) plan.
