About Justin Bacon
For me, it has always been about aviation. Joining the Navy as a Naval Aviator was one of my childhood dreams. I wanted to fly. What I didn't realize was how much the Navy would also teach me about Aviation Management and Leadership.As I progressed through Co-Pilot to Pilot roles on the P-3C Orion, I had the opportunity to deploy overseas, to lead more than 30 Aviation Maintenance personnel as the Airframes Branch Officer, and to work in Aviation Operations and Facilities Management roles.That diverse military experience has shaped the person that I am today—a pilot that is able to adapt to challenges in the air AND on the ground. I thrive in any new workplace setting. Transitioning into the DOD Contract world has allowed me the opportunities to operate in areas all over the world, in both single-pilot and multi-crew scenarios. Numerous world-wide aircraft ferries, including North Atlantic crossings, has given me the specialized experience to operate smoothly and efficiently outside of the comforts of home. Now as a Fractional Ownership Pilot I have enjoyed the ability to interact directly with customers and clients. My background as a Naval Aviator and a Government Contractor has developed an distinct ability for adaptability and flexibility, allowing me to operate smoothly and efficiently in changing environments and demands, providing for an easy transition further into the aviation industry.
