The final project at LIRMM focused on designing and creating an innovative software product line tailored to proximity-based e-commerce applications. The primary objective was to provide a solution that facilitates seamless connectivity between local businesses and customers, effectively leveraging the advantages of geographical proximity.To achieve this goal, the development team chose a modern and efficient technical architecture. Mobile applications for both customers and merchants were developed using Flutter, a popular framework for creating fluid and responsive user interfaces. This approach ensured an optimal user experience from both the customer and merchant perspectives.The system's backend is built on a microservices architecture, based on Node.js and MongoDB. This architecture offers essential extensibility, flexibility, and scalability to efficiently manage a large user and merchant base while ensuring optimal performance.A key element of the project is the SPL (Software Product Line) generator, based on Node.js and Flutter. This generator allows users to customize their preferences and generate a version of the application based on selected feature variability points. The project is the result of dedicated work and continuous innovation. It represents a significant contribution to the evolution of the e-commerce sector by highlighting the advantages of geographical proximity for consumers and local businesses.
