Baden is a management executive with over 25 years’ experience in both the Commonwealth and ACT Governments, and the private sector. His experience spans several sectors including national security, counter-terrorism, crisis and emergency management, health, medical research, and industry policy. The focus of his experience has been in governance, strategic planning, risk management, performance and program management, business process improvement, and stakeholder engagement and facilitation. In addition to his extensive experience, Baden has chaired a number of national and jurisdictional committees and has been a member of many others. He has managed a wide variety of projects, both in scale and complexity, not only within organisations, but across whole-of-government and nationally. Baden success is due to his focus on outcomes, his ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and understand their requirements, and his commitment to finding efficient, innovative, and flexible solutions to ensure organisational and whole-of-government requirements are met.
