Created detailed business specifications and logical flowcharts from which programmers created technical specifications. Conducted problem analysis and provided recommendations for solutions while complying with TSYS total methodology policies and procedures. • Assisted with the rewrite of the TSYS postage billing system. Outside of Human Resources, postage was the single-largest expenditure to the company as TSYS was the largest USPS customer in the Southeastern United States. The rewritten application allowed those working in the statement generation division to tie shipments of mail to individual customers in a more efficient manner. This new application also allowed for multiple meter permits to be used, allowing the accounting to assign postage to different general ledgers. All of this translated to higher accuracy when billing our customers, higher productivity for the print area, and greater flexibility and control of expenses for the accounting area. • Aided in the development of a document retention system (similar to what SharePoint provides). This system allowed administrators to upload documents from Visa, MasterCard, etc. for viewing internally. This system allowed those administrators to define email notifications so that when key documents were uploaded, those to be notified systematically received notice that the new document was available. Finally, this system provided fuzzy search functionality, allowing users to enter key words which would then search within the documents stored for matches. -
