Bae Pheaxay is an Assistant Professor, senior lecturer, senior advisor in the field of Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Environmental Education in Faculty of Environmental Sciences, National University of Laos. His field interests include climate change, nature base solution, environmental base adaptation, sustainable natural resources management, environmental education and agriculture innovation and etc… He has extensive experiences in international cooperation and project managements such as: He was an advisor of SEA TRANS EDU Project under the SHARE EU-ASEAN Programe, he was a national committee of Laos One Health University Network (LAOHUN) under the SEAOHUN, he was an advisory of Environmental Education and Awareness (EEA)-Laos under the ProCEEd-GIZ Program and SEED volunteer group more than 15 years, he was involved in Agriculture Innovation Project (TAP-AIS Project) in Laos as position of national committee under the FAO Program, he was a national committee of Ecosystem base Adaptation (EbA) intervention in infrastructure development projects of Oudomxay and Fongsaly provinces, coordinator of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and Integrated Catchment Management (ICM) project in Xe Bang Hieng basin under the UNDP Programs, he did an Environmental Safeguard position in several development projects in Laos such as Healthy Border Project under Services and Solution International Ltd (SSIL)-ADB program, Prefeasibility study for Livable cities in Laos under ADB Program, Corridor Initiative for Biodiversity Bench Mark Program in Laos under ADB Program and he was a team leader of Laos partnership on Coffee Products Verification in Bolaven Plateau Laos in 2023-2026 and Land use observation in Laos by using Machine Learning to detecting crops distribution in Laos under the Enveritas regional Asia Pacific Program.
