I joined the Motors team of the eBay Classifieds Scandinavia and took on the responsibility for business development and product management of the motors market on dba.dk (part of Denmark’s biggest Motors market, including bilbasen.dk and Bilinfo). As Head of Project management I was responsible for rethinking and adapting the processes for managing our project portfolio. We set up an overall roadmap process (with more sub-processes) and as part of the incorporated improvement focus we started to elaborate, tweak and refine the process by adapting principles from Scrum. The idea was to create an enterprise Scrum setup for aligning project across multiple teams and departments.At the same time I was overall process responsible – in this case this would also cover our Scrum setup. When I joined Den Blå Avis, the development organisation had just started adapting Scrum as the main framework for project management and software development.
