Financial Reporting• Manage accounts payable, intercompany and bank accounts • Maintaining the general ledger and analysis of operational accounts• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and thorough review• Prepare the cash flow statement Accounts Payables• Manage ad hoc, weekly and monthly payment runs • Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process reviewManagement Accounting • Prepare monthly management accounts• Performance measurement and analysis on key KPIs by Variance Analysis• Include notes to actual vs budget variances to support management decision makingStatutory Compliance and Submission• Ensure compliance and governance of relevant tax regulations• Preparation and submission of VAT, payroll and other statutory taxes on SARS E-filing • Ensure all tax queries are handled timeously and company is compliant Communication• Maintain a good communication channel between all stakeholders• Comprehensive data maintenance and filing of supporting documentation• Communication and liaising with internal (departments) and external (bank, auditors) parties • Prepare and present financial reports to EXCO• Assist with external audits and other queries Budgeting and Forecasting• Facilitate the budget process with operational teams • Update the financial model with different scenarios to help forecasting and decision making• Upload the approved budget into the accounting system

Accounts Payables• Manage local and cross border payment runs• Perform End of the day cash reconciliations with teams from the African region Compliance and Governance• Ensure compliance with international standards, rules and regulations • Ensure that the bookkeeping is carried out in accordance with general accounting practices • Upkeep foreign exchange transactions and translationsBookkeeping• Ensure that all general ledger accounts are correct and up to date monthly • Monthly Intercompany journals and Opex accruals • Release payments for all banks and manage payment runs

Primary Distribution• Monthly reconciliations of hauliers and trucks• Provide KPI’s for Supply Chain Packs • Investigate all Haulier Claims • Compile daily Primary Utilization Report and Primary Admin Status Report • Provide financial training and support to primary distribution branches • Stakeholder interaction and management • Maintain and manage treasury files, bank records, financial logs, and reports

Accounts Payable• Initiate payments on banking system • Assist with reconciliations and generate a banking statement for each branch • Verification of bank details and update accordingly Administration • Ensure filing is neat and consistent• Upkeep of audit trail of payments • Assist with annual Metrofiling and archiving of old recordsAccounting • Allocate the bank statement transaction lines • Prepare and post accruals, provisions, month end journals as well as reallocation journals monthly• Prepare a bank reconciliation • Follow up on any outstanding items• Assist with all audit and non-audit queries

Reporting• Maintain policies and procedures• Ensure integrity of system data and handling of source documents• Analysis of data for issues, trends and exceptions• Provide the Supply Management team with monthly supply management packs• Vehicle cost tracking and analysis• Ensure compliance and corporate governance

•Initiate foreign and local payments•Filing and maintain monthly departmental reconciliations•Responsible for administering and controlling the Petty Cash system for payments up to R500•Printing of payment confirmation and sending to relevant internal and external parties•Monitor the age analysis for outstanding receipts and resolve•Keeping a reconciliation of payments loaded and approved for each payment run•Verify that all payments have been captured, reviewed and outstanding payments followed up
