Ben Griffith has a national practice focused on health care transactional and regulatory matters, including M&A, strategic affiliations and joint ventures. Much of his practice is focused on private equity transactions in the health care industry with a particular focus on physician practice management platforms, which has involved closing a number of the largest such transactions in the country over the last several years. In addition to his transactional work, Ben also devotes a substantial portion of his practice to health care regulatory issues related to federal and state fraud and abuse laws, including the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law and False Claims Act, as well as regulatory issues related to the corporate practice of medicine, health care program billing and provider reimbursement.
