Electronic Design Engineer/Manager • Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (M.Eng.).• 8+ years of experience with Schematic capture and PCB layout tool using Altium Designer.• 5+ years of experience in Microcontrollers (such as ARM Cortex-M4, Cortex -M3, and AVR).• Working knowledge with analog and digital sensors, peripheral circuits, and Low power switch-mode power supplies.• Experienced with supporting PCB and PCBA contract manufacturers for documentation, assembly and test instruction, component obsolescence and part alternatives.• Familiar with EMI/EMC/FCC, and UL/CSA safety requirements and how to address related issues in design.• Advanced prototyping and board bring-up skills including bread-boarding, manual assembly, soldering fine-pitch SMT (surface mount) and through-hole components, making wire harness and cable assembly, develop test firmware for embedded devices, and board troubleshooting.• Excellent lab skills using spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, DMM and other electronic lab tools.• Hands-on experience in using mechanical tools such as caliper, drills, saws, grinders, files, etc.• Experienced in employing touchscreen LCD and OLED for designing Graphical User Interface (GUI). • Practical knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code.• Recognized as an inventor in North America (Patent number: 10843499, Aug 24, 2017) and worldwide (International Publication Number: WO 2018037066 A1) regarding “Printer for official documents”.
