Co-founded The C.O.D.E. Initiative in 2017.Our mission at The C.O.D.E. Initiative is to diversify the tech industry. In particular, we aim to provide children with learning differences the opportunity to learn computer programming skills in a supportive environment. Our organization focuses on inclusivity and empowerment to help all children develop the skills to be competitive in the job market.Current responsibilities include:-Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure we produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.- Manage and lead the executive team of 25 members in the fields of strategy, outreach, R&D, recruitment, and administrative topics.- Collaborate and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams to develop business roadmaps.- Develop high-quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives- Work on strategic partnerships, financial forecasting, and revenue model generation along with a team of ten executives.

Currently a junior Behaviour Consultant working with families and schools.

- Spearheaded the student recruitment strategy, campaign, and initiatives for the launch of the 19/20 academic year.- Collaborated interdepartmentally and with student groups/clubs to optimize the decision-making process and maximize cross- Centre functioning.- Enhanced programs by identifying opportunities and presenting recommendations on emerging initiatives throughout the research and networking phases of the project’s life cycle.- Developed a final strategy document and its supporting documents to communicate the various 19/20 events, initiatives, and collaborations across campus.- Fostered an open environment by celebrating diversity, inclusivity, equity, and individual perspectives through the various events, documents, and initiatives.

• Analyzed and interpreted large data sets of genomic and RNA-Seq data using R and R packages.• Attended different workshops to develop a greater understanding of the most recent techniques in data interpretation with R.• Applied statistical analysis to large genomic datasets and inferred conclusions from the results.• Collaborated with a team to construct an improved database for storing the tumor bank information for cancer patients in BC, utilizing multiple computing languages to create the data transfer program.• Improved the quality of results from deep sequencing analysis by working with MutationSeq pipeline and R to bioinformatically analyze results.• Enhanced the sequenced data in the tumor bank database by processing specimens taken from patients in the wet lab and sectioning and staining tumors in FFPF to create slides.• Interacted with patients in the BC Cancer Agency clinic to enroll them in ongoing research projects and analyzed large sums of patient data.
