Managing 1 to 2 drilling rigs in West Texas● Reduced drilling cost by 52% in Monocline setting of Alpine High through casing design, bit, BHA, targeting optimization and cost control through vendor negotiations.● Reduced drilling cost by $700K per well in Northern Trough setting of Alpine High by pioneering the liner string elimination in Woodford wells.● Spearheaded the re-engineering of casing design from large hole to slim hole in Northern Horst setting of Alpine High. Successfully delivered 5-1/2” production casing in 6-3/4” hole with competent cement job. Implemented managed pressure drilling (MPD) to the new design to overcome the challenges associated with narrow mud weight window and high equivalent circulating density (ECD). Reduced drilling cost by $300K per well as a result.● Mentored two Apache Development Program engineers and one intern for total of 15 months● Collaborated with Data Analytics team and World Wide Drilling team to build tools for optimizing drilling in different sections of the wellbore. Some examples are: Offset analysis to determine optimum surface parameters, TAD analysis to optimize clean up cycles, Hydraulics modeling to maximize hole cleaning and optimize trip speeds while limiting swab and surge.

The University of Tulsa Drilling Research ProjectsWorked on a project to evaluate rheological behavior and flow characteristics of incompressible water based lightweight drilling fluids under high temperature and high pressure conditions. Fluids evaluated in this project have specific gravity less than water and lightweight hollow spheres are being used for this purpose.

-Providing fluids, products and services to the oil, gas & geothermal industry in Turkey and to the countries nearby.- Management of drilling fluid properties with chemical and physical treatment dictated by mud program.- Assist with troubleshooting mud related problems at rig site.- Ensure correct and appropriate use of company products, services and resources.

Practiced as a night shift drilling & drilling fluids engineer in the gas fields located at Thrace Basin (north western part of Turkey).
