From 2006 research interests focuses on occupational voice disorders. The adaptation and validation of Voice Handicap Index in Latvian. The prevalence of voice disorders in population of teachers of Latvia. Risk factors for voice problems in teachers. Prognosis of voice disorders based on risk factors. The impact of voice disorders to functional, physical, and emotional conditions of teachers. Voice characteristics in teachers and non-teachers with and without voice disorders. Previous projects related to speech and language disorders to bilingual children.
