Baiju is an experienced General Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the maritime industry, skilled in QHSSE Management Systems, Port / Container Terminal Operations Management and Leadership. He is an experienced professional with a diploma in Port Management and certificates in Cargo Ops, Marine Operation and Container Terminal Design from Lloyds Maritime Academy, UK. He also holds diplomas in Industrial Safety, Security Management & Terminal Management. He is also proficient in ISO Management Systems. Baiju started his career in 1985 as an Indian Naval Sailor spanning 15 years on various Naval Ships and participated in Peace Keeping missions in Sri Lanka & Somalia. After seeking volunteer retirement from the Navy, he started his Port & Terminals career with APM Terminals, Pipavav (2001-09). There he held position of Sr. Manager Operations managing the Traffic, Bulk, Break-bulk, Container and Stevedoring Operations. Presently he is with DP World (SCO Region) Terminals since 2009 as Head of HSE, managing HSE, ESG and Decarbonization aspects of the Container Terminal.
