Hello Neighbor is a social venture that was born from the Impact MBA program at Colorado State University. We aim to reduce the cost-burden of homeowners and renters alike through a shared housing platform that fosters community while reducing traditional barriers to attaining housing. As co-founder, I have conducted in-depth ethnographic interviews, customer journey mapping, secondary research, business ideation and brainstorming, UX prototype and wireframing, as well as developed a comprehensive business plan.

As a strategist, I completed primary and secondary research on consumer behavior, worked on a variety of client proposals and brand strategy deliverables, and developed internal marketing materials. In addition, I created a report on Generation Z's power on the marketplace with a specific focus on purposeful and environmentally focused brands.

As a Impact Strategy Intern I completed tri-sector research aimed to uncover and map the resources that individual firms in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors posses in the food and agriculture space. After mapping these resources the team utilized design thinking techniques to highlight connections and iterate solutions for our nonprofit partner working on developing a more effective food bank system.

I was the co-director of the business program at Kalu Yala which lead college-aged students through an intensive 10-week study abroad course focused on how business can thrive utilizing a triple bottom line (People, Planet, Profit). Our learn-by-doing classroom setting challenged traditional college experiences and immersed students in hands-on problem-solving through the creation and implementation of a business idea from start to finish.

I was the basic finance manager for Kalu Yala and performed accounting duties such as balancing the books, keeping a ledger, managing business bank accounts, creating budgets, submitting cash and electronic payroll, and planning cash flow.

Co-founded an off-the-grid startup cafe and served as Operations Manager to oversee inventory, bean sourcing, create brand content, and manage company finances. Curioso's mission was to find the most environmentally friendly way to source, roast, and prepare specialty coffee.
