I'm a recent graduate from Appalachian State University. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I spent much of my time working on independent studies and collaborative research. I also spent a year as a front desk consultant for the university's writing center. My time in school and with the writing center showed me the importance of patience, communication, and learning new skills. Additionally, I spent some time working as a sales associate for the Mighty Meeple board game store. This job required good customer service, manage customer relationships to better cater to their interests, and a commitment to teamwork for the success of a local business. I hope to use this network to explore new opportunities, make valuable connections, and further my career goals in conservation and research.
