I am an aspiring epidemiologist with a Master of Science in Epidemiology and a Graduate Certificate in Emerging Infectious Diseases. My educational experience includes syndromic surveillance, infectious disease research, and data analysis. I have applied epidemiological methods to public health projects, including my preceptorship on Mpox surveillance in Iowa, which has strengthened my ability to analyze and interpret complex data for outbreak detection and public health decision-making.In my current role as a Technician III at Integrated DNA Technologies, I specialize in oligonucleotide purification, quality control, and process optimization. I also collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety protocols and contribute to laboratory sustainability initiatives. My experience extends to process improvement, developing and revising SOPs, and enhancing lab efficiencies through automation.I have working knowledge with SAS, R, and ArcGIS Pro. I am eager to grow my expertise in public health data management and statistical modeling.
