With a burning interest for film and television production, I was able to win the annual film festival two consecutive years in a row for Best Short Film in long and short form as well as Best Director and Best Editor. Over the years I have created wedding slideshows, retirement videos, many short documentaries for my church’s outreach program, as well as two eighth grade graduation showcases. I currently work as a bartender for ArcLight Pasadena but spent years as a film programmer. My job required researching years of box office data both nationwide and location-specific. With the data and comparisons I was able to collect, I forecasted and scheduled the grosses and auditorium placement for upcoming films. As a result of my hard work, ArcLight Pasadena was regularly in the Top 100 for weekly theater grosses out of the nation’s ~4000 theaters. I aspire to direct and produce films of my own.
