I am a senior at North Carolina State University, College of Natural Resources, receiving a BS in Environmental Sciences with a minor in Sustainable Materials and Technology. As a transfer student graduating from Wake Tech Community College with Associates Degrees in both engineering and science, I have taken the time to dial into my interests in order to apply my growing knowledge and passions into a career. My overall interest in environmental sustainability has stemmed from my fascination in our natural world and the drive to protect it. My studies related to engineering and sustainability have allowed me to see the potential in the future of industry, when it comes to innovative solutions. During the completion of my college education I have worked for Ovesco Endoscopy USA, a medical device company, where I have gained strong customer service and administrative skills. I have worked throughout multiple departments, including order processing, accounts receivable and with the research and development team at the headquarters in Germany. This exposure to an array of roles I have gained over 8 years, while also completing my studies, shows that I have dedication towards career growth and am willing to learn any task where my assistance is needed. I wish to expand my skill set with the transition into my desired field of work, embracing the importance of lowering environmental impacts.
