Clinical Research Coordinator for the PROMISE and PCROWD studies apart of The Ghobrial Lab. This Lab aims to identify patients at risk of progression to B cell malignancies from precursor conditions such as MGUS and SMM and develop targeted therapies to eliminate the disease before progression.PCROWD Study- Medical research data bank that studies and analyzes blood samples from patients with diagnosed precursor conditions to Multiple Myeloma to help identify factors associated with disease progressionPROMISE Study- An early intervention study using research-level mass spectrometry to screen high-risk individuals for early warning signs to precursor conditions of Multiple MyelomaResponsibilities: - Specimen kit creation and distribution, sample transport and collection- Informed consent in clinical setting, constant patient and provider communication - Data analytics: create, edit, QC, clean, and manipulate large data sets in Excel - EPIC, REDCap, CaTissue, Open Specimen, OnCore use daily to register patients, track samples and patient progression, create PB and research draw schedules, and manage patient and provider apts.
