I am currently a graduate student at LIM College majoring in Global Fashion Supply Chain Management. I achieved a good, broad understanding of the fashion industry and the different roles during my undergraduate, and now I am looking to become more specialized within the fashion supply chain. From May 2022 - August 2022, I interned at TJX's corporate headquarters in Framingham, MA as a Merchandising Intern in their Planning and Allocation department. I was responsible for doing research on the various products we had available to ship, how they performed based on various metrics such as S/S ratio. I also looked at geographical selling data and individual store data to see where products perform the best and send them to where they would sell most optimally. I was also responsible for helping to decide what to ship each week and what to hold onto in order to hit our shipping goals, along with partnering with the sister team to make sure our offerings were strategically aligned.I graduated from the University of Rhode Island while majoring in Textiles, Merchandising, and Design. I was in the honors program and during my time at URI I have taken Operations and Supply Chain Management, Fashion Retail Supply Chain Management, Business Data Analysis with Excel, Fashion Merchandise Buying, Fashion Retail Analytics, along with various Textile classes and other general business classes. Through my studies I have explored concepts such as financial analysis, business modeling, general business analysis, statistical analysis, along with various techniques and methodologies for process improvement. I have also become proficient in Microsoft Office, earning an Excel Core certification. I am a very curious individual, and as such, I enjoy learning new information and skills. I enjoy new challenges as well as learning how to apply my class room knowledge and skills in a real world setting. Currently, I am looking for ways to do this in an internship setting.
