Speech Language Pathologist
CurrentWorking as a speech language pathologist to conduct assessments, diagnose a variety of speech and language disorders, create individualized treatment plans based on clinical observation and standardized assessments, plan one on one therapy sessions to target SMART goals and complete timely detailed documentation regarding goals and outcomes. Understanding of a variety of EMR systems to document patient information and progress. Collaborate with physical therapists and occupational therapists to provide personalized care and provide training to therapists and families on implementation of AAC devices and communication strategies. I have specific experience working with pediatric language development, expressive-receptive language disorders, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, fluency disorders, apraxia, AAC/augmentative and alternative communication, pragmatic language skills, gestalt language processing, swallowing and tethered oral tissue.
