Worked with a caseload of 25-40 residents staying within the shelter of the organization in creating Self-Sufficiency plans with goals towards eventual independent housing. This involved helping clients utilize social services such as SNAP, Medicaid/Medicare, SSI/SSDI. Maintained detailed case files for each client in accordance with HUD-funding. The position also involved helping clients maintain medical appointments and prescriptions/treatment plans. Oversaw intake process of shelter residents and targeted clients experiencing homelessness for the first time in working to help provide rapid-resolution services through short-term case management.

Held caseload of 20 clients at a time referred to the organization in order to be provided with Rapid Rehousing services. Once a client referral was received the goal was to house the client in less than 90 days and provide rental assistance until income could be established. Self-sufficiency plans were created alongside the client which included plans for medical care, sustainable income, substance abuse management, etc. Clients were helped with keeping with appointments of all kinds and given referrals for jobs as well as job trainings. Detailed files were kept on each client in order to track growth and reshape self-sufficiency plan as needed.

Participated in writing and submitting grant proposals. Developed and worked on database of individual donors through the use of a CRM. Ensured that all donor data was correctly collected and entered, ensured that policy was created to acknowledge receipt of donation within 48 hours. Researched donor-focused CRM systems to determine if the organization should upgrade its system, and if so which system was the best fit for the organization. Developed regular on-line solicitations, including Giving Tuesday and "GiveNOLA" Day. Participated in development and in beginning implementation of strategies for increasing giving by monthly donors and younger donors. Developed social media policies and content schedule. Worked closely with Executive Director to plan, implement, and strategically perform yearly Winter Fundraiser, for the first time done virtually. Created a website for the organization which is to be used in the future for other events. Designed, printed, and distributed flyers with the use of Canva for the event to all donors, with highest importance placed upon major donors. Ensured the virtual event was ran as smoothly as possible both technically and logistically.

Worked to ensure all patron's safety and enjoyment of events held in nightclub. Served alcohol at BYOB style bar to large numbers of patrons. Worked in upkeep and maintenance of building both before and after events. Fast-paced work environment which required constant awareness of both patrons and surroundings.

Responsible for assisting with literacy camp for at-risk, low income children. Provided support for visiting youth groups and other volunteer groups at The Family Tree. Coordinated productive literary-based youth group activities for at-risk youth in low-income area of Charlotte, NC.
