• facilitate end-to-end recruitment, including job advertisements, selection, interviews, offers, onboarding and inductions;• first line of support and enquiries for HR from CBS Inc. staff;• completed the organisation’s casual conversions, change to terms, higher duties, additional duties, secondments, successful probations, cessations of casuals, resignations, terminations and offboarding of staff;• regularly conducted tough conversations as I was a point of contact for staff feedback;• conducted exit interviews to examine organisational issues and addressed these problems with the Executive management team to improve staff satisfaction and retention;• developing / reviewing of all operating procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with current contractual obligations, standards, and CBS Inc. guidelines;• providing Award and industrial relations support to the organisation to ensure compliance;• assisting with staff complaints and grievance resolution;• provide HR assistance in staff disciplinary meetings and staff dismissals.

Working closely with the CBS Inc. Corporate Services team, I:• conducted general Human Resource and administrative functions; • assisted with the recruitment, induction, and training of employees;• managed the employee happiness survey, responding to feedback and providing information to management as required;• managed HR file audits; • assisted with the running of the Knowing CBS two-day workshop;• managed the organisations HR email / inbox; and• ensured employee compliance with government legislation for all 269 CBS Inc. staff.

Working with the Beyond Making it Happen! team, I:• provided support and training to people who have a disability or are disadvantaged • delivered services designed to maintain and develop pre-vocational, recreational and community development skills to improve participant quality of life;• contributed to the implementation and facilitation of training programs, and preparation of participants to enter the workforce through work discovery, independent living skills training and other development programs; • maintained vigilance in identifying the physical and emotional well-being needs of participants, while encouraging the inclusion of people with a disability in all aspects of community life.

Throughout my role at JHI, I was given an opportunity to improve my understanding of how a workplace operates as I completed filing and organised payslips for employees.
