Front End web developer on API Connect. I implement responsive web applications using React, Preact, and Angular. I have refactored existing front-end code from Angular 1 to React Redux and written React Redux from scratch. I am familiar with and have contributed to Carbon Components React. Technologies I use on a daily basis include webpack, node and node express router, redux, redux-thunk, sass, stylus, svg, git and travis.

Collaborated with staff on improve the Graduate Funding Information Center's current WordPress website and better integrating it with the Funding Information Portal on Drupal. Led training workshops and one-on-one consultation sessions with graduate students to answer questions about how to find and apply for funding. I answer email queries, write quarterly reports, and maintain the Carolina Internal Funding database.

I supported Quintiles' sales team as part of the Customer Solutions Management Group (CSMG) Administration. I wrote abstracts for a weekly newsletter emailed to over 200 people across Quintiles’ sales team, and I published articles highlighting recent wins and policy changes on Quintiles’ social media platform, iQ. I used Empliant to administer two 30 item surveys assessing the sales team’s use of various communication platforms, analyzed the results in Excel, and produced 50-slide powerpoint decks analyses, as well as summary presentations. I designed a custom SharePoint 2013 team site for Evidence Based Sales and helped explain and mediate the transition from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013. I also summarized web analytics for the CSMG iQ page for my supervisor and reccommended best practices.

I assisted PhD student Mishio Yamanaka with her project analyzing race at the Fillmore School in New Orleans in 1877. I transcribed student lists using photographs of orginal school documents, looked up students in the 1880 census on ancestry.com. I used photoshop to manipulate scanned images from historic Robinson Atlas maps and plotted student addresses using ArcMap.Information about the map and the school is availiable at http://fillmoreschool.web.unc.edu/

As a library employee a the Southern Historical Collection, I wrote the finding aid for series 6 of the Howard Odum Collection, which required sorting, grouping, and describing about 2,000 photographs dating from 1915 to 1954. I also pulled and summarized collection materials for researchers and faculty. I assisted with numerous digitization projects, which required screening collections for conservation issues and writing Statements of Work for scanning technicians.
