The beginning of my career started with Red Robin. I asked if I could do my College Internship for Business Management with them and they agreed. After completing my internship, I was ready for the manager role at Red Robin. Shortly after starting to manage, I moved to another location to help the management team, which lead to becoming a fulltime manager. I found joy and happiness training new team members and got into the new restaurant opening program, helped start restaurants from the ground up. My last open I was the Assistant General Manager for the open and after 9 months of being open I was promoted to General manager where I relocated to help an underperforming restaurant. After 2 years, I went to the Tampa market and Covid hit. Florida was the first ones to re-open and we were writing the book on how to reopen to the public after new regulations were being passed down, after 14+ years with Red Robin, I have learned many leadership skills and communication skills. I have also learned how to look at tasks with a little more creative mind and put a spin on the outcome. Learning how to listen to everyone and understanding their needs and what outcome they are looking for has proven to help get results needed. Coaching and training to develop future leaders is still a passion for me. There will always be positivity with my answers and presence. Today I get the privilege to work for Performance Foodservice and help restaurants with their food costs, menus, bring innovated ideas, help with food quality and even save money. I wake up everyday ready to visit restaurants and find ways to help and make personal connections with the all the staff going from the front door to the back door. The best part of my job is watching restaurants thrive.
