Dr. Hamilton and I have worked closely with Calgary Region Immigration Employment Centre (CRIEC) to research the outcomes of their mentorship program. I assisted with survey development, literature reviews, manuscript preparation, and the focus groups. I also performed quantitative analyses on survey data and qualitative analyses on data gathered from focus groups. Dr. Hamilton and I presented a poster on the CRIEC project at the Pathways to Prosperity 2017 conference in Toronto, Ontario.In addition to the collaboration with CRIEC, Dr. Hamilton and I have partnered with Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS) and Calgary Immigration Women's Association (CIWA). The partnership also consists of researchers and immigration organizations in Ontario. Through the collaboration, we have been able to research the information needs of Syrian refugees. The research findings were presented at the 20th National Metropolis Conference in Calgary, AB.

As a student researcher I conducted an independent study under the supervision of Dr. Taylor. We explored the effects of mindfulness meditation on false memory susceptibility. I was involved in all aspects of the research project, including project design, material preparation, conducting a pilot study, and running participants while managing two research assistants. We prepared a poster to present the findings, which I presented at the Banff Annual Seminar in Cognitive Science (2017) poster session.

Over two years I assisted my professor with research project development, literature reviews, and material preparation.

As a PASS leader for Psychology Statistics 2 I was responsible for attending the students' statistics class and preparing study materials to be aligned with the lectures each week. During the study sessions I assisted small groups of students to reinforce their understanding of course material. I prepared activities, additional handouts, and questions to help students practice the concepts learned in lecture and provide clarification when concepts were not understood.

As a research assistant at the Calgary Counselling Centre, I completed multiple annual report which involved data analysis of multiple counselling programs' outcomes. Additionally, I completed my own research on the individual differences between clinical and non-clinical clients at the Centre. I also completed research requests for counsellors, data entry, test scoring, literature reviews, and helped prepare poster presentations for the Director of Research and CEO of the Centre.
