I am a hard working individual continuously working to better my knowledge in the fields of Payroll and HR.Throughout my years working prior to graduation, I have learned about a variety of different business processes and industries, including retail, restaurants, travel and tourism, and libraries. I have experience with corporate companies, government jobs, and small businesses. Working in so many different industries has increased my skills of efficiency, customer service, and overall business knowledge. During my time at Clemson, I also completed a minor in the Spanish Language. Having a knowledge of other languages and cultures and a background in human resources allows me to be culturally aware and accepting.After graduating from Clemson University in May 2019 I moved to Charlotte, NC to begin my HR/Payroll career. After graduating, I was eager to learn about the HR industry in the real world. I gained experience doing HR Administrative work for a recruiting company in the Telecom sector as well as for Walmart’s Corporate Office. I then switched paths and began working as a Payroll Administrator for hotel company with locations in 48 states. Now, 2 years later, I am working as a Senior Payroll Specialist with TriNet and enjoying every minute of it!

Working at the marina taught me a vast amount of knowledge about tides, weather, boats, and private boat owners. I became familiar with the tourism industry throughout the world, as many of our customers had recently traveled to and from other countries. This job improved my time management skills as well as my multitasking abilities. I was required to communicate with boat captains and lead them to their spot, while communicating with the dockhands to help guide them in, while simultaneously checking in customers in the office who had reservations. This job was similar to hotel management, with the exception that the guests brought their rooms with them!
