I assist lead teachers in daily preschool activities; such as preparing supplies, setting up activities, assisting in hands-on education, cleaning, operate standard office equipment, and prepare sleeping mats for daily naps.

As a Children's Ministry Volunteer, I teach a weekly Sunday School class for children between the ages of three and six, as well as volunteer one Saturday a month in the church nursery. As a teacher, I prepare snack, prepare lessons, and ngage youth through music, lessons, games, and active playtime. While in the nursery, I interact with toddlers and infants, change diapers, give bottles, soothe children, and play with them. Workin between the two age groups has given me insight into parental expectations and desires for their children.

As a volunteer Summer Staff, I spent 6 days a week with youth staying at camp overnight. My responsibilities included keeping a clean teepee, watching over the safety and wellbeing of all children in my care, leading activities for the children, maintaining a schedule and reminding youth of their daily expectations and ADLs.
