Bailey Napier is a fourth-year Law Student at the University of Newcastle, pursuing a Bachelor of Law (Honours)/ Diploma of Legal Practice. She has been recognised for her academic excellence, receiving the HSC High Achievers Award and earning a place on the Honours Roll in 2020.Upon obtaining a Bachelor of Criminology in 2023, her extensive education has enabled her to utilise these proficiencies during negotiations and communications with involved parties, emphasising a comprehensive comprehension of psychological illnesses and disorders, as well as the motivating factors behind various actions, whether criminal or civil in nature.In her quest to prepare for a future in Personal Injury and Family Law, Bailey places a strong emphasis on fostering creative and critical thinking skills as well as emotional intelligence. She is deeply committed to advocating for human rights issues both within Australia and on a broader societal scale, tirelessly working towards equitable justice.In addition to her academic pursuits, Bailey has actively engaged in various extracurricular activities to broaden her horizons and skill set:In 2017, she participated in the University of Newcastle Women's Empowerment Program.In 2018, she completed the WORKSAFE Certificate in Business and Information Technology, Hospitality and Tourism, as well as Sports and Recreation.In 2019, she earned the NSW Government Work Placement Ready Certificate.In 2021, Bailey expanded her knowledge through the Lawcademy Legal Research Course and completed a LEAP Academy Short Course in Legal Software.In 2023, Bailey was awarded a Bachelor of Criminology.
