I am a dynamic and dedicated Community Recreation Specialist with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Parks Management from UNCG. Currently at Franklin County Parks and Recreation, I spearhead innovative events like the Mullet Competition and the Flick & Float: JAWS event, which have elevated local community engagement. My passion for creating memorable public spaces and experiences was inspired by a childhood visit to Fort Collins, Colorado.In addition to my professional role, I actively contribute as a Board Member for Community Partnership, where I help coordinate local events and foster community connections. I also volunteer as an instructor, delivering digital literacy classes for seniors, and have been involved in the Virginia Recreation & Park Society. My diverse background, including roles in program management and event planning, equips me to create impactful and engaging community experiences.
