Here I assisted the staff museum “interpreter”. My primary purpose when I am stationed in one of our galleries or assigned to a tour is to provide content knowledge and educate visitors in an engaging and meaningful way. I conduct public tours, roving interpretation in galleries, school tours, VIP tours and more. When I am not on tours, I help our patrons find bricks of loved ones by researching an extensive data base of thousands of veterans and loved ones. I direct on average 900-4,000 patrons daily around the museum, explaining what will be encountering in each of the 3 floors, spread over 5 buildings. I help accommodate people with disabilities and I am currently certified with Kulture City for their Sensory Venue Training.

Here I kept the essential day-to-day functions our legislative office running smoothly. My primary responsibilities include managing the legislator’s calendar, scheduling meetings, tours of the State Capitol, responding to constituent emails and phone inquiries, maintaining databases of contacts, drafting and sending newsletters, supporting policy and constituent efforts with social media content, creating fact sheets, conducting research, organizing town halls and other events in the district, and preparing the legislator for bill hearings and meetings with constituents, stakeholders, and lobbyists.

Promptly assisted the Executive Secretary in clerical support through data entry, document management, email correspondence and overseeing operation of office equipment. Ensured fellow Members, constituents and guests in office had their needs and questions tended to right away, made sure they felt comfortable and had an impressive, meaningful experience in the Legislative office. In charge of managing and building a weekly schedule for all Speaker Pages, taking into consideration hour requirements, university schedules and requests off.
