Bailey Tasker is a full-time Environmental Consultant for Rampart Solutions, LLC. and is finishing up a master's degree in Ecological Restoration from Montana Technological University. As a consultant, Bailey has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from solar energy, carbon offsets, and waterfowl protection. She has also been team lead in developing, implementing, and reporting large-scale neighborhood environmental surveys. Bailey's graduate work is to develop a migration forecast model for the Berkeley Pit Waterfowl Protection Program in Butte, MT. In addition to her work with waterfowl, Bailey is a skilled scientist in the areas of microbiology, soil science, and aquatic ecology. While working as a scientist, she developed proficiency in GIS, R Statistical Software, and technical writing. She has two publications in well established peer-reviewed journals. Bailey is passionate about science, communication, and the outdoors. In 2022, she co-founded a non-profit called Montana Wetlands and Waterfowl which seeks to improve waterfowl nesting habitat in Southwest Montana and introduce elementry school students to waterfowl and science.
