I’m a total nerd for all things customer experience - and helping inspire teams to create outstanding memories with guests in the leisure, entertainment, retail and hospitality industries is my jam. Leaving the nest of my family’s hardware business with hopes of taking the world by storm as an actor (still dreaming), I realised that I wanted to eat anything other than two-minute noodles and took a job working as a Sideshow Host at Luna Park Sydney. Then something wonderful happened. I was chatting to an elderly man who had returned to the park with his family for the first time in 30 years. 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 3 nieces - they’d all made the trip to Luna Park to spend some time with him. His wife had just died, and he had proposed to her at Luna Park all the way back in the 50’s. As the man told me all about the wonderful team members that had made it all possible, I realised that this is why we do what we do. We get to be part of the story. I love creating powerful and infectious team cultures, and I’ve developed an aptitude for lateral thinking and creative approaches to recruitment and driving performance that WOWs.
